Love is all you needBy Solomon AdamsRead 1 John 4:16In the month of February we celebrate Valentine's Day. It is a tine to express love in a special way to the ones we love. Each of us has a deep need for love. God has created us with this need for love. We can only be fulfilled and find what we were created for by being loved. God is Love (1 John 4:16) and we become more like God when we love each other. True love makes us vulnerable. The fear of being hurt can prevent us from expressing love, finding love, and experiencing love. Perfect love, true love, casts out fear. (1 John 4:18) Many people are looking for love in all the wrong places. What they find is a pseudo (false) love that hurts and destroys. True love, the love that you need and desire, builds up, blessing and fulfilling one's life. As you are looking for love this month, I want to assure you that a Bible believing and following church near you has its arms open wide to you. Go and experience God's love and with them find significance, acceptance, and fulfillment. |
