The Creator decorates and spring is renewed.
There is such an anticipation of spring
After dark cold winter ends
New life awakens and begins to sing
Sun warms and creation transcends.
The intensity is bright and clear
No creation does He withhold
All jump in line as they unfold
Their design and beauty are here.
Flowers in their prime
Birds, insects, grass and trees chime
Through gentle winds and rain outlined
The sound of music is defined.
Spring is perpetual awe
Brushes filled with vibrant colors
Form earth, sea, sky, and shore
All of creation draws.
All nature rejoices
To which we all embrace
Spring - God's showplace
Has been ushered in.
Now spring has come to me
When the warm Son came -
Gave new life
And set me free!
Its perpetual astonishment you see!
